Seg\u00fan un estudio publicado en 2009 por la ISTTF, creada por 49 fiscales generales de Estados Unidos y MySpace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Concluy\u00f3 que el ciberbullying y el ciberacoso eran los principales riesgos que enfrentaba la juventud en Internet, que no todos los ni\u00f1os estaban igualmente en riesgos, y que los factores psicosociales y ambientales de cada menor eran m\u00e1s importantes que la tecnolog\u00eda que estaban usando.<\/p>\n

El informe indicaba que aunque las redes sociales online no son el lugar donde m\u00e1s frecuentemente tiene lugar la exposici\u00f3n a contenidos nocivos, s\u00ed son a menudo usadas para el ciberacoso entre iguales<\/a> al ser ampliamente usados por los menores y tener una funci\u00f3n principal de reforzar las relaciones sociales preexistentes.<\/p>\n
