UU. recib\u00eda <strong>solicitudes de tipo sexual en Internet<\/strong> en 2000. La cifra baj\u00f3 a 1 de cada 7 (13%) en 2005 y se acaba de anunciar (publicado en la revista <em>Journal of Adolescent Health<\/em>) el dato de que actualmente (datos de 2010) est\u00e1 en el 9%. Eso significa un <strong>descenso del 50% en 10 a\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Estas solicitudes fueron definidas en el estudio como <em>\u00abpeticiones para realizar actividades sexuales o mantener conversaciones sexuales o para dar informaci\u00f3n sexual personal, que no eran deseadas y que fueron realizadas por un individuo de 5 \u00f3 m\u00e1s a\u00f1os\u00bb<\/em>. Para determinar su incidencia se pregunt\u00f3 a los chicos si en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>&#8230;\u00bfalguien en Internet ha intentado que hablases online de sexo cuando t\u00fa no quer\u00edas?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>&#8230;\u00bfalguien en Internet te ha pedido informaci\u00f3n sexual tuya cuando no quer\u00edas responder a ese tipo de preguntas? (preguntas muy personales acerca del aspecto de tu cuerpo o actividades sexuales que has realizado)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>&#8230;\u00bfalguien en Internet te ha pedido que hagas algo sexual que no quer\u00edas hacer?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"http:\/\/riesgosinternet.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/12\/grafica-ccrc-solicitudes-sexuales-ciberbullying-pornografia-indeseada-2000-2005-2010.png\" alt=\"Gr\u00e1fica de la evoluci\u00f3n de las solicitudes sexuales, ciberbullying y pornograf\u00eda online (2000-2010)\" title=\"Fuente: CCRC\" align=\"right\" style=\"padding-left:5px;\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" \/>En el informe titulado \u00ab<em>Tendencias en la Victimizaci\u00f3n de la Juventud en Internet: Resultados de tres encuestas sobre seguridad de los j\u00f3venes en Internet (2000-2010)<\/em>\u00ab, tambi\u00e9n se constata que la exposici\u00f3n no deseada a la pornograf\u00eda online tambi\u00e9n desciente entre los j\u00f3venes estadounidenses. La cifra baj\u00f3 del 34% al 23% entre los menores de 10 a 17 a\u00f1os en el periodo 2005-2010. <strong>El \u00fanico problema que muestra una tendencia al alza es el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\">ciberbullying\/ciberacoso<\/a><\/strong>, en el que los investigadores aprecian un auge del 6% en 2000 al 9% en 2005 al 11% en 2010. <\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la autora principal del informe, Lisa Jones, <em>\u00abpese a que las constantes noticias acerca de los riesgos en Internet podr\u00edan dar la impresi\u00f3n de que todos los problemas online est\u00e1n empeorando para los j\u00f3venes, no es el caso. El entorno online podr\u00eda estar mejorando.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Una hip\u00f3tesis acerca de la reducci\u00f3n de las solicitudes sexuales ser\u00eda el <strong>traslado de las interacciones a las redes sociales<\/strong>. Seg\u00fan los autores, la naturaleza de estas redes hace dif\u00edcil recibir solicitudes fuera de contexto de personas totalmente desconocidas y circunscribe las comunicaciones de los menores sobre todo a su c\u00edrculo de amigos conocidos (<a href=\"http:\/\/seguridadredessociales.wordpress.com\/2011\/12\/21\/los-menores-publican-informacion-personal-en-las-redes-sociales-para-recibir-la-atencion-de-sus-iguales\/\">al contrario de lo que apuntar\u00edan otros informes<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Otro factor al que apuntan los autores es que la facilidad de reenv\u00edo de la solicitudes de sus pares con comentarios del tipo <em>\u00ab\u00a1Fiu! Mira lo que me acaba de mandar Fulanito\u00bb<\/em> crea la percepci\u00f3n de que <strong>si mandas alg\u00fan mensaje de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexting.es\">sexting<\/a> acabar\u00e1 siendo p\u00fablico y avergonz\u00e1ndote.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Los resultados de una investigaci\u00f3n reciente efectuada por un panel de j\u00f3venes de instituto y universitarios en una conferencia acerca de <strong>Facebook<\/strong> apuntar\u00edan en ese sentido: los usuarios de esta comunidad virtual <strong>son plenamente conscientes de hasta qu\u00e9 punto es p\u00fablica cualquier cosa que se publique<\/strong> en ella.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy Willard, del <acronym title=\"Crimes Against Children Research Center\">CCRC<\/acronym>, tambi\u00e9n destaca la diferencia entre riesgo y da\u00f1o real: <em>\u00abRecibir una solicitud sexual no deseada es un riesgo. Cu\u00e1ntos adolescentes han resultado da\u00f1ados es una cuesti\u00f3n mucho m\u00e1s importante.\u00bb<\/em> Seg\u00fan su estudio de 2000 <strong>menos del 1% de las solicitudes llev\u00f3 a un encuentro f\u00edsico<\/strong> y de ellas ninguna acab\u00f3 en una relaci\u00f3n sexual.<\/p>\n<p>Con todo, algunos medios han trasmitido la falsa idea de que esas solicitudes online en busca de sexo equivalen a una tasa equivalente de <em>depredadores<\/em>. Pero en los informes del CCRC nunca se ha indicado que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.internet-grooming.net\">provengan de adultos extra\u00f1os<\/a>: de hecho <strong>otros menores y j\u00f3venes adultos son los que env\u00edan entre el 90 y el 94% de dichas solicitudes<\/strong>, cuando la edad es conocida. Adem\u00e1s muchos de estos mensajes pretenden m\u00e1s fastidiar que seducir para un encuentro sexual offline.
