Los casos de <a href=\"http:\/\/ciberbullying.wordpress.com\/?s=suicidio\">adolescentes que se quitan la vida<\/a> tras haber sufrido un pertinaz acoso en las redes sociales son m\u00e1s comunes de lo que se cree. Hay personas que se hacen pasar por otras, utilizan su perfil para insultarlas y crear rumores falsos o un ambiente en su contra. O cuelgan una foto de alguien y hacen comentarios hirientes. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jorgefloresfernandez.com\" title=\"Conoce m\u00e1s sobre el director de Pantallasamigas\">Jorge Flores<\/a> (Portugalete, 1968), fundador y director de la organizaci\u00f3n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\" title=\"Iniciativa por el uso seguro de Internet entre los menores y por una ciudadan\u00eda digital responsable\">Pantallas Amigas<\/a>, es uno de los expertos que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/2011\/09\/26\/ciberconvivencia-en-las-redes-sociales-jornadas-el-27-y-28-de-setiembre-en-vitoria-gasteiz\/\">estos d\u00edas reflexiona con educadores y padres<\/a> sobre el alcance de este nuevo fen\u00f3meno, el acoso escolar de siempre ampliado a las redes sociales. <\/p>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 ha crecido tanto este fen\u00f3meno en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; Llevamos trabajando desde 2004 y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/recursos-educativos-materiales-didacticos\/guia-ciberbullying\/index.htm\">la primera gu\u00eda<\/a> la hicimos en 2006. Aumenta por simple probabilidad. Hay m\u00e1s personas interactuando en el ciberespacio, y por lo tanto m\u00e1s ocasiones para el conflicto. Los chavales usan internet desde edades m\u00e1s tempranas, m\u00e1s horas al d\u00eda y desde lugares diversos, en casa, en el centro escolar, quiz\u00e1s en la calle.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfLas redes son las culpables?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; No. Pero exigen un mayor nivel de convivencia. Internet era un espacio donde conviv\u00edamos. Cuando llegan las redes sociales donde antes hab\u00eda cuatro ocupantes en una vivienda ahora estamos ocho. Nos obliga a estar m\u00e1s juntos, lo que provoca dos consecuencias, la p\u00e9rdida de privacidad y el aumento de los conflictos. No es lo mismo una vivienda con cuatro ocupantes que con ocho. Y estos son las redes sociales. Convivimos m\u00e1s estrechamente.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfSe nota estad\u00edsticamente en los centros escolares?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; Naturalmente. Hay preocupaci\u00f3n en todos los \u00e1mbitos y en todas las partes del mundo. Nosotros estamos en los centros y lo vemos. Raro es el colegio en el que no se haya dado alg\u00fan caso. Algunas estad\u00edsticas son para tom\u00e1rselo muy en serio.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Un protocolo de actuaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfC\u00f3mo se ha abordado este asunto en el Pa\u00eds Vasco?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; Podemos estar satisfechos porque <a href=\"http:\/\/riesgosinternet.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/14\/se-presenta-en-euskadi-el-primer-protocolo-de-actuacion-contra-el-ciberbullying\/\">hemos sido la primera comunidad aut\u00f3noma<\/a> en poner en marcha un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protocolo-ciberbullying.com\">protocolo de intervenci\u00f3n<\/a>, algo que no se conoce ni en Europa en temas de ciberbullying. Si ocurre, contamos con una gu\u00eda impulsada desde Educaci\u00f3n porque la gente suele estar perdida.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfC\u00f3mo hay que actuar?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; Hay diferentes niveles. Nosotros hemos elaborado un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/proteccion-infancia-consejos-articulos\/decalogo-para-una-victima-de-ciberbullying.shtm\">dec\u00e1logo para una v\u00edctima de ciberbullying<\/a> que se puede consultar. Los padres, por ejemplo, no tienen demasiado margen de actuaci\u00f3n salvo si se ven involucrados en alg\u00fan caso. No conviene actuar por su cuenta porque se pueden cometer errores. A los culpables hay que decirles que se trata de un da\u00f1o real y que tienen una responsabilidad por ello. Y a las v\u00edctimas hay que mostrarles el camino de la autoprotecci\u00f3n. En el acoso escolar hay un estereotipo de v\u00edctima, que puede ser la persona especial. Aqu\u00ed, no. Nadie est\u00e1 a salvo de sufrir ese ciberacoso. Y hay que tener en cuenta que en este caso el tiempo no se para. En el colegio, el acoso empieza a las 9 de la ma\u00f1ana en clase. En las redes sociales, es continuo. Nunca para. Hay que pedir ayuda cuanto antes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>&mdash; \u00bfLa privacidad es clave?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&mdash; Uno de los principales consejos que damos es que no podemos proporcionar datos personales alegremente. Cuanto m\u00e1s se sepa de nosotros, m\u00e1s vulnerables somos en caso de conflicto.
