\"SenadoEl senador de Ohio Joe Schiavoni<\/strong> ha defendido la introducci\u00f3n de una reforma legislativa en este Estado de los EE.UU. para otorgar m\u00e1s poder a colegios y profesores a la hora de luchar contra el ciberbullying, que seg\u00fan se afirma no tienen la formaci\u00f3n ni la regulaci\u00f3n necesaria para hacer frente a las formas electr\u00f3nicas del ciberacoso escolar.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, obligar\u00e1 a los centros a incluir el ciberbullying dentro de las pol\u00edticas escolares<\/a> y a formar a los profesores en su prevenci\u00f3n y actuaci\u00f3n ante casos del mismo. Dentro de su definici\u00f3n se incluir\u00e1n los sucesos que aun teniendo lugar fuera de los recintos escolares, perturben de manera importante el ambiente y la disciplina escolares<\/em>. Aunque seg\u00fan los redactores de la ley no se debe culpar a los centros del ciberbullying que suceda fuera del horario escolar, s\u00ed que se deben encargar de atajarlo en todo caso que llegue a su conocimiento.<\/p>\n

La propuesta legislativa ha sido bautizada como la Jessica Logan Act<\/em> en recuerdo de la chica que en julio de 2008 se suicid\u00f3 tras un grave caso de ciberbullying. <\/p>\n
