{"id":31,"date":"2011-03-29T15:55:43","date_gmt":"2011-03-29T14:55:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/?page_id=31"},"modified":"2015-03-03T09:18:02","modified_gmt":"2015-03-03T08:18:02","slug":"incidencia-del-ciberbullying","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/incidencia-del-ciberbullying\/","title":{"rendered":"Incidencia\/Prevalencia del ciberbullying"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>(NOTA: Las fechas entre corchetes representan la fecha de realizaci\u00f3n de cada estudio o bien la de su publicaci\u00f3n.)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>[2011, Chile]<\/strong> El 87,8% de los estudiantes chilenos de 7\u00ba curso b\u00e1sico (12 a\u00f1os) a 4\u00ba medio (17 a\u00f1os) ha sido v\u00edctima de ciberbullying por Internet o v\u00eda celular. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/riesgosinternet.wordpress.com\/2011\/12\/26\/el-ciberbullying-aumenta-en-chile-hasta-casi-el-90-de-los-escolares-adolescentes\/\"><acronym title=\"Universidad Andr\u00e9s Bello\">UAB<\/acronym> y <em>Paz Ciudadana<\/em><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2011, Mendoza (Argentina)]<\/strong> El 19% de los menores de entre 9 y 17 a\u00f1os de Mendoza (Argentina) sufrieron bullying por Internet o por celular, en forma de insultos, burlas o amenazas. El 11% reconoce haberlo ejercido sobre otros. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.diariouno.com.ar\/mendoza\/De-9.000-nios-y-adolescentes-mendocinos-1.800-fueron-agredidos-por-Internet-o-SMS-20111119-0024.html\">Observatorio Internacional de la Violencia Escolar &#8211; UCA<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, EE. UU.]<\/strong> El ciberbullying aument\u00f3 en los EE. UU. m\u00e1s del 80% en 10 a\u00f1os. Los investigadores apreciaron un auge desde el 6% que hab\u00eda en 2000 al 9% en 2005 y al 11% en 2010. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/2011\/12\/23\/el-ciberbullying-aumenta-en-los-ee-uu-mas-del-80-en-10-anos-segun-una-investigacion\/\"><acronym title=\"Crimes Against Children Research Center\">CCRC<\/acronym>, Universidad de New Hampshire<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, M\u00e9xico]<\/strong> El 4% de los ni\u00f1os y adolescentes mexicanos dijo haber sido objeto del ciberbullying en 2010 a trav\u00e9s de Internet, mientras que v\u00eda celular la cifra fue del 7%. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elfinanciero.com.mx\/index.php\/tecnologia\/51183-tiene-mexico-jovenes-qmultitaskingq\">Foro Generaciones Interactivas<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, Chile]<\/strong> Los j\u00f3venes chilenos de 10 a 18 a\u00f1os son los iberoamericanos que m\u00e1s utilizan Internet para perjudicar a otras personas, con un 7%; al tiempo son l\u00edderes en v\u00edctimas online del ciberacoso, con un 10%. El 8% se ha sentido perjudicado alguna vez con un mensaje, foto o v\u00eddeo a trav\u00e9s del celular. El 11% reconoce haber utilizado el celular para hacer da\u00f1o. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/2011\/12\/15\/los-menores-chilenos-\">Foro Generaciones Interactivas<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, Argentina]<\/strong> A los 14 a\u00f1os el 13% de los chicos (0% de las chicas) reconocen usar la Red para realizar ciberbullying. La cifra se estabiliza entre los 16 y 18 a\u00f1os en torno al 6-8%. En las chicas los picos de ciberbullying se producen entre los 11 y 13 a\u00f1os (10-14-10%) y a los 17 (11%). En cuanto al ciberbullying pasivo hay una marcada diferencia entre ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os: ni\u00f1os de menos de 10 a\u00f1os, de 13, 14, 15 \u00f3 m\u00e1s de 17 dicen que nunca les ha perjudicado nadie online y s\u00f3lo a los 11 y 17 a\u00f1os dicen ser v\u00edctimas el 8-9%. Sin embargo las ni\u00f1as muestran cifras muy altas: 25% de las menores de 12 a\u00f1os \u00f3 22% entre las de 17, por ejemplo. Con respecto al uso del celular para realizar ciberbullying el 20% de menores de 11 a\u00f1os lo ha hecho, 37% de 11 a\u00f1os y varones, manteni\u00e9ndose en cifras muy altas en esa franja hasta los 14 a\u00f1os y especialmente entre los varones, ya que las chicas arrojan cifras mucho m\u00e1s bajas a excepci\u00f3n de las menores de 11. Despu\u00e9s vuelven a remontar la tasa de ciberabusones varones y a los 17 a\u00f1os son el 23% y a los 18 el 35%. Como v\u00edctimas de ciberbullying v\u00eda celular el panorama sorprendentemente cambia y a cortas edades son los chicos los m\u00e1s perjudicados para pasar luego a ser las chicas: 10% de menos de 11 a\u00f1os (frente a 0% de chicas), 17% a los 13 (frente a 7% de chicas)\u2026 y luego 14% de chicas a los 15 (frente a 7 de chicos), 19% a los 16 (frente a 12%) y 17% frente a 6% a los 18. La excepci\u00f3n son los 17 a\u00f1os, en los que el 15% de chicos dicen ser perjudicados mientras entre las chicas la cifra es nula. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/internetconlosmenoresriesgos.com\/2011\/12\/16\/mas-de-la-mitad-de-los-ninos-argentinos-aprenden-solos-a-usar-internet\/\">Foro Generaciones Interactivas<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Entre el 15 y el 30% de los j\u00f3venes han sufrido ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/news.smh.com.au\/breaking-news-national\/tribunal-find-cyberbullying-is-violence-20110530-1fcn1.html\">Cyber Safety Solutions<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2011, varios pa\u00edses]<\/strong> 1 de cada 6 ni\u00f1os (16,7%) sufre ciberbullying, seg\u00fan una encuesta realizada en Espa\u00f1a, Alemania, Canad\u00e1, Francia, Australia, Estados Unidos, Italia, Reino Unido y Jap\u00f3n. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.decisionreport.com.br\/publique\/cgi\/cgilua.exe\/sys\/start.htm?infoid=9222&amp;sid=41\">AVG Technologies<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2011, Portugal]<\/strong> Casi el 16% de los adolescentes portugueses sufren ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciberbullying.com\/cyberbullying\/2011\/04\/28\/casi-el-16-de-los-jovenes-portugueses-sufren-ciberbullying-segun-un-estudio\/\">OMS<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> Seg\u00fan el estudio <em>\u00abJuventud y Violencia\u00bb<\/em>, de la Fundaci\u00f3n Pfizer, el 11,6% de los adolescentes espa\u00f1oles de entre 12 y 18 a\u00f1os ha sufrido maltrato psicol\u00f3gico a trav\u00e9s de la Red y un 8,1% lo ha sufrido a trav\u00e9s del m\u00f3vil. <strong>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionpfizer.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdf\/Informe_FINAL_Violencia_y_Juventud.pdf\">Fundaci\u00f3n Pfizer<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>El 50% de las v\u00edctimas de ciberbullying conoce a sus agresores. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.consumer.es\/web\/es\/salud\/psicologia\/2011\/02\/20\/198951.php\">Joaqu\u00edn Mora-Merch\u00e1n<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> El 5,9% de los menores espa\u00f1oles usuarios de m\u00f3vil afirma haber recibido mensajes o llamadas de otros menores meti\u00e9ndose con \u00e9l\/ella. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inteco.es\/Seguridad\/Observatorio\/Estudios_e_Informes\/Estudios_e_Informes_1\/Estudio_moviles_menores\">INTECO<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2010, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> El 11,5% de ellos ha tenido acceso mediante su m\u00f3vil a im\u00e1genes de peleas con chicos conocidos <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inteco.es\/Seguridad\/Observatorio\/Estudios_e_Informes\/Estudios_e_Informes_1\/Estudio_moviles_menores\">INTECO<\/a>]<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>El 12,1% de los chicos entre 10 y 18 a\u00f1os de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, M\u00e9xico, Per\u00fa y Venezuela ha experimentado alguna forma de ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.generacionesinteractivas.org\/?p=1377\">Jorge del R\u00edo P\u00e9rez<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>El 13,3% de los chicos entre 10 y 18 a\u00f1os de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, M\u00e9xico, Per\u00fa y Venezuela reconoce haber realizado bullying con su celular. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.generacionesinteractivas.org\/?p=1377\">Jorge del R\u00edo P\u00e9rez<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> Casi una d\u00e9cima parte de los ni\u00f1os espa\u00f1oles ha sufrido ciberbulliying, un porcentaje que aumenta con la edad. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/riesgosinternet.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/25\/la-mitad-de-los-adolescentes-espanoles-tiene-su-propio-web\/\">Foro Generaciones Interactivas<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, UE]<\/strong> El ciberbullying ya amenaza a ni\u00f1os de 6 a\u00f1os en las redes sociales online. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberbullying.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/11\/el-ciberbullying-ya-amenaza-a-ninos-de-6-anos-en-las-redes-sociales-online\/\">Eurobar\u00f3metro<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, UE]<\/strong> <em>\u00abHicimos un an\u00e1lisis y el mayor problema es el ciberacoso o acoso entre iguales, crean rumores sobre alguien, hay amenazas e insultos. Despu\u00e9s, el acoso sexual por parte de adultos y por \u00faltimo la existencia de contenidos inapropiados de sexo o violencia\u00bb<\/em> &#8211; Christine Kormann, directora del \u00e1rea de sociedad de la informaci\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberacoso.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/11\/el-ciberacoso-es-el-mayor-peligro-de-las-redes-sociales-online\/\">Eurobar\u00f3metro<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>] El 26&#8217;6% de los adolescentes espa\u00f1oles practica o padece ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/elegales.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/25\/uno-de-cada-4-adolescentes-sufre-o-ejerce-ciberbullying\/\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de la Juventud\">InJuve<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>] Seg\u00fan los datos facilitados por el <acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de la Juventud\">InJuve<\/acronym>, el 10,5% de los adolescentes se ve implicado en estas actividades de ciber-acoso v\u00eda mensajer\u00eda instant\u00e1nea; el 4,6% a trav\u00e9s del chat; el 4,3% por mensajes de tel\u00e9fono, el 2,8% v\u00eda correo electr\u00f3nico, el 2,7% por tel\u00e9fono y el 1% a trav\u00e9s de fotograf\u00edas o v\u00eddeos. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/elegales.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/25\/uno-de-cada-4-adolescentes-sufre-o-ejerce-ciberbullying\/\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de la Juventud\">InJuve<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, M\u00e9xico <acronym title=\"Distrito Federal\">DF<\/acronym>]<\/strong> Seg\u00fan un estudio realizado por la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n del Distrito Federal de M\u00e9xico y la Universidad Intercontinental, cerca del 90% de los menores estudiantes ha sido bien testigo, actor o v\u00edctima de ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/stop-ciberbullying.blogspot.com\/2009\/06\/aumentan-los-casos-de-ciberbullying-en.html\"><acronym title=\"Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n del Distrito Federal\">SEDF<\/acronym> &amp; <acronym title=\"Universidad Intercontinental\">UIC<\/acronym>, M\u00e9xico<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Islas Baleares]<\/strong> Casi una cuarta parte del alumnado <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">espa\u00f1ol<\/span> balear de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria, un 23,5%, ha sido insultado a trav\u00e9s de p\u00e1ginas web, por lo menos una o dos veces. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberconvivencia.wordpress.com\/2009\/06\/29\/uno-de-cada-4-alumnos-de-eso-sufre-insultos-en-la-web\/\">Educaci\u00f3 i Ciudatania &#8211; <acronym title=\"Universitat de les Illes Balears\">UIB<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Islas Baleares]<\/strong> El 7,7% de los alumnos de ESO ha sufrido burlas mediante el m\u00f3vil. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberconvivencia.wordpress.com\/2009\/06\/29\/uno-de-cada-4-alumnos-de-eso-sufre-insultos-en-la-web\/\">Educaci\u00f3 i Ciudatania &#8211; <acronym title=\"Universitat de les Illes Balears\">UIB<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Islas Baleares]<\/strong> El 6,6% de los alumnos de ESO se ha encontrado con fotos indiscretas suyas publicadas en la WWW sin su permiso. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberconvivencia.wordpress.com\/2009\/06\/29\/uno-de-cada-4-alumnos-de-eso-sufre-insultos-en-la-web\/\">Educaci\u00f3 i Ciudatania &#8211; <acronym title=\"Universitat de les Illes Balears\">UIB<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, Islas Baleares]<\/strong> El 7,4% de los alumnos de ESO ha sufrido rumores y falsedades difundidas sobre \u00e9l en las redes sociales online. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/ciberconvivencia.wordpress.com\/2009\/06\/29\/uno-de-cada-4-alumnos-de-eso-sufre-insultos-en-la-web\/\">Educaci\u00f3 i Ciudatania &#8211; <acronym title=\"Universitat de les Illes Balears\">UIB<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2007-2008, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> El 33,3% de los padres y madres espa\u00f1oles conocen el riesgo del ciberbullying pasivo, frente al 42,5% de los menores encuestados. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/estudios-realizados\/inteco-estudio-habitos-seguros-uso-tic-menores-econfianza-padres-pantallasamigas.shtm\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Comunicaci\u00f3n\">INTECO<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2007-2008, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> Conocen el riesgo del ciberbullying activo un 21% de los progenitores frente al 34,4% de los chavales.  <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/estudios-realizados\/inteco-estudio-habitos-seguros-uso-tic-menores-econfianza-padres-pantallasamigas.shtm\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Comunicaci\u00f3n\">INTECO<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2007-2008, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> El 53,9% de los padres consideraba el ciberbullying pasivo algo grave y el 34,2% bastante o muy grave. En cuanto al activo lo consideraba algo grave el 38,1% y bastante o muy grave el 47,1%.  <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/estudios-realizados\/inteco-estudio-habitos-seguros-uso-tic-menores-econfianza-padres-pantallasamigas.shtm\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Comunicaci\u00f3n\">INTECO<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2007-2008, Espa\u00f1a]<\/strong> La incidencia directa entre los menores espa\u00f1oles encuestados fue del 5,9% en el caso de sufrir ciberbullying (pasivo) y el 2,9% en el caso de realizarlo (activo) sobre otros chavales. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pantallasamigas.net\/estudios-realizados\/inteco-estudio-habitos-seguros-uso-tic-menores-econfianza-padres-pantallasamigas.shtm\"><acronym title=\"Instituto Nacional de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Comunicaci\u00f3n\">INTECO<\/acronym><\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009?, UE]<\/strong> A la mitad de los padres europeos le preocupa el uso del tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil puede exponer a sus hijos a intimidaci\u00f3n por parte de otros ni\u00f1os. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/rapid\/pressReleasesAction.do?reference=IP\/09\/596\">Comisi\u00f3n Europea<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2007, EEUU]<\/strong> El 11% de los alumnos de ense\u00f1anza media en EEUU sufrieron alg\u00fan tipo de acoso, seg\u00fan estudio publicado en 2007 por el Journal of Adolescent Health. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/stop-ciberbullying.blogspot.com\/2008\/12\/redes-y-portales-contra-el.html\">Journal of Adolescent Health<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2008, Manchester (Reino Unido)]<\/strong> Un estudio realizado en 100 centros educativos del \u00e1rea de Manchester revela que al d\u00eda se producen entre 50 y 100 casos de mal uso de los ordenadores escolares. En el 70% de las ocasiones se trata de de ciber acoso o ciberbullying. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/riesgos-internet.blogspot.com\/2008\/12\/el-cyberbulling-es-una-de-los-mayores.html\">e-Safe Education<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[EE. UU.]<\/strong> Parry Aftab, directora de wiredsafety.org diagnostica el ciberacoso en EEUU: <em>\u00abest\u00e1 oculta, pero es una epidemia mortal\u00bb<\/em>. Los datos apoyan la procupaci\u00f3n: son ya 14 los menores que se han suicidado en Estados Unidos a causa del ciberacoso. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/stop-ciberbullying.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/los-estudiantes-del-ursuline-school.html\">Parry Aftab<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[2009, EE. UU.]<\/strong> More than 33% of teens surveyed have been cyberbullied, perpetrated cyberbullying or know of friends who have experienced or perpetrated it, and 68% think it is a serious problem. An estimated four in five teens believe that bullying online is easier to get away with or to hide from their parents than bullying in person. <strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/portal\/site\/google\/?ndmViewId=news_view&amp;newsId=20090616006468&amp;newsLang=en\">Harris Interactive para Cox Communications<\/a>]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[EE. UU.]<\/strong> Casi el 30% de los adolescentes en Estados Unidos (5,7 millones) se ve envuelto en alg\u00fan tipo de acoso escolar, ya sea como v\u00edctima, victimario o ambos. <strong>[Centro de Prevenci\u00f3n y Control de Enfermedades]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>[Irlanda]<\/strong> En Irlanda est\u00e1n implicados el doble de alumnos en el tema del ciberacoso que en el acoso tradicional. Es un fen\u00f3meno emergente. Hablamos de un 18% del alumnado. Se produce m\u00e1s entre las chicas (un 10%) que entre los chicos (un 4%).
